Hey guys, My room is available for sublet for 5 months, from the 1st of September 2024 till the 1st of February 2025. Rent is 450€ p/mo incl. The location is Van Eysingalaan, 3527 VT. Accessibility is great – the house is 10 minutes by bike from Utrecht Centraal with multiple bus and tram stops about 2 minutes away. It’s also super close to Ah, Jumbo, Lidl and all the essential stores. The room is about 11-12 m2 and furnished. It has a closet, a double bed, shelves, a desk, a chest of drawers, and a bunch of other stuff incl. plants, a laundry basket, lights and an external monitor (for those who want to work from home). The stuff can be re-arranged or stored elsewhere to make space if need be. There’s also a shared garden and storage room in the apartment for your bike and any other stuff.You share a kitchen, restroom, shower, and balcony with two housemates – Jake, 30 (a game designer) from the U.S. and Danielle, 35 (a project manager) from Nigeria. The spoken language at home is English – but there’s really no preference when it comes to nationality/background etc. We all cook super often and our kitchen is small but super stacked with most of what’s required. The vibe in the house is quite chill and quiet – everyone’s got their individual work and stuff going on but every now and then – we catch up for a drink/meal. Looking for someone who is experienced living with others and can take care of the space well – keep the room and surroundings clean. Also, would help if you also have your own thing going on – work/study etc. and could just slot into the rhythm of the house. Registration isn’t possible as this is a sublet (I’m travelling to Australia for 5 months).
